Gideon Tsoutsouris

Gideon is a senior studying Politics and Philosophy, Law and Criminal Justice Studies (LCJS), and Croatian. Outside of PPR, he is also the vice president of the College Democrats at Pitt. He is an aspiring attorney passionate about consumer and market consolidation issues, and has substantive political and legislative experience. In his free time, you can find him at the gym, listening to podcasts, or cooking.
Keira Giacometti
Senior Advisor
Keira is a senior double majoring in Political Science and English Writing. She is particularly passionate about American education policy and Central and Eastern European politics. Outside of PPR, she is involved with Model European Union and the Political Science Student Association. Additionally, she is a Digital Fellow at Project26 Pennsylvania. In her free time, you can probably find her reading, at a movie theater, working out, or planning her next theme park adventure.
Kai Cruz
PR Manager
Kai is a sophomore studying Political Science, LCJS, and Creative Writing. She is particularly passionate about human rights advocacy work, and her long-term goal is to become an attorney and/or a judge. Her policy interests include gun violence prevention, education, and domestic security. Outside of PPR, she is the Advocacy Chair for Filipino Students Association and an editor for Undergraduate Law Review. In her free time, she enjoys taking photos all around Pittsburgh, going to live shows, and spending time with her best friends.
Christian Purchon

Christian is a junior majoring in Political Science and minoring in Arabic. He is interested in foreign policy and national security, and has experience in federal government work. In his free time, he likes to read and play games with his friends.
Linden Corbett
Business Manager
Linden is a sophomore in the David C. Frederick Honors College, majoring in International and Area Studies with focuses in Political Science and Economics. She is interested in foreign affairs, international and domestic security, and social behavior. Outside of PPR, Linden is conducting research with the Center on Race and Social Problems at the University of Pittsburgh, and in her free time enjoys reading and spending time with her friends.
Leah Gottlieb

Leah is a sophomore double majoring in Politics and Philosophy and the History of Art and Architecture. She is interested in arts policy, voting rights and elections, and copyright law. Outside of PPR, Leah is involved in Chi Omega and Women in Law at Pitt. In her free time, Leah enjoys reading, listening to music with friends, and staying active.
Abigail McDaniel

Abigail is a sophomore triple majoring in Political Science, Economics, and Law, Criminal Justice, and Society (LCJS). She is also earning a certificate in Human Rights and Social Justice. In addition to PPR, Abby is a member of the Political Science Student Association and Women in Economics. Abby also works as a student tour guide at Pitt. Abby enjoys reading, crocheting, and staying up to date on all kinds of pop culture.

Anastasia is a freshman in the David C. Frederick Honors College, majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Political Science. She is interested in health, social, and environmental policy, as well as general public policy. Outside of PPR, she is an EMT and enjoys staying active, reading, and watching movies.

Ben is a freshman majoring in Politics and Philosophy, intending to pursue a career in law. In addition to being a writer for PPR, Ben is a member of the Pitt Mock Trial Team, the Pitt Model UN team, and Pitt’s performance improv troupe, Ruckus. In his free time, Ben can be found reading, playing games, or out enjoying the many opportunities Pittsburgh has to offer.

Laurel is a sophomore studying Public Health and Public Policy with a certificate in Global Health. She is primarily interested in health and environmental policy. Outside of PPR she is involved with Alpha Phi Omega co-ed service fraternity and the School of Public Health sustainability club. In her free time, she loves spending time in nature, reading, and seeing live music.

Lina is a junior intending to study public policy at Pitt’s School of Public and International Affairs. Her favorite policy areas of interest include public health, public transportation, city planning, and public arts. In her free time, Lina loves to play piano, cook, and spend time with her friends and family!

Luka is a senior Business and Molecular Biology major. He intends to pursue a career in genetics. Luka has enjoyed writing for most of his life and is excited for the opportunity to write for PPR. He is a member of the Swim Club, Ping Pong Club, Debate Club, and Speech Club. In his free time, Luka enjoys reading fantasy books, walking through parks, and watching TV.
Madison Moore

Madison is a sophomore majoring in Law, Criminal Justice, and Society and Political Science. She is looking to work as either an Immigration Lawyer or an International Rights Lawyer after she finishes Law School. Madison is interested in foreign affairs, immigration rights, and political theory. Outside of PPR, she is involved with Students for Justice in Palestine, Women in Law, and Phi Alpha Delta. Outside of School, she is a huge book reader. If she’s not working on schoolwork or a piece, she’s probably reading.

Nathan Warrell is a sophomore in the Frederick Honors College, majoring in Politics and Philosophy with a minor in Public and Professional Writing. He is a a frequent member of Philosophy Club and Outdoors Club. When not in school, he has a great appreciation for the outdoors and spends most his free time enjoying nature.

Noah is a senior majoring in Political Science, with a minor in History. He is also a member of the David C. Frederick Honors College and is pursuing a Global Health Certificate. Outside of PPR, he is a member of the Political Science Student Association, and enjoys following local politics and social welfare policy, in addition to taking care of his three cats and two dogs.

Parker is a senior working towards the Politics & Philosophy Frederick Honors Degree. He intends to pursue a career in policy analysis. Parker is interested in international human rights law, media law, and political theory. He is interested in foreign film and recently completed a minor in film & media studies.
Pierce Latona

Pierce is a sophomore majoring in electrical engineering with a minor in German. His policy interests are foreign policy and the Supreme Court. Outside of PPR, Pierce is involved in Pitt symphonic band and percussion ensemble. In his free time, Pierce loves music and is an avid skier and runner. Pierce is looking forward to running the Pittsburgh Marathon in May.

Besides PPR, she is also involved in Take Back the Night, the Global Eyes Student Publication, and Hooks & Books. Sam is a Freshman majoring in Politics & Philosophy with a minor in Economics and a certificate in German Language. He is a guitarist and singer in the university’s bluegrass ensemble and he’s starting to get involved with Pitt Dems. He spends lots of his extra time playing music, writing awful poetry, and participating in democracy.

Suresh is a sophomore majoring in Political Science and Spanish, with a Portuguese minor and a certificate in Latin American Studies. He is passionate about immigration policy and advocacy. In addition to editing for PPR, Suresh is a member of the Pitt Drumline. In his free time, Suresh enjoys contributing to the marching arts by creating percussion arrangements. He also loves spending time hiking outdoors.

He is passionate about workers’ rights, the environment, and U.S. foreign policy. In his free time, Wesley enjoys going to concerts, hiking with friends, and watching movies.

Brooke is a current first-year at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Political Science with minors in Spanish and Creative Writing. She is incredibly passionate about policy related to human rights, national security, and international law. In addition to her involvement with PPR, she is part of the Undergraduate Law Review, Quo Vadis, Healing Harmonies, and literary magazines on campus. Outside of school, Brooke is an avid writer, specifically an award-winning and published poet, and she loves to spend her free time singing and playing the guitar.

Outside of PPR, She competes on Pitt’s cross country and track team and is a student policy analyst for the Pittsburgh Policy Initiative. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, and going kayaking in the summer!

In her free time, she loves reading, watching movies, and trying new things.

Pablo is a sophomore studying Political Science and minoring in Economics and Public Policy. He is interested in learning about affordable housing, transportation, and immigration issues. He is a policy analyst for PPI, a member of PSSA, and works as a research assistant under the Political Science Department. Outside of school, he enjoys running, biking, and hanging out with friends.
